We work alongside WRHA Palliative as a contracted partner — we do not replace the public program, we supplement it. With consent, we share symptom logs and medication records, attend family meetings, and communicate with the palliative physician on your team.

Yes, absolutely. Most of our palliative clients pass at home with our team present. We manage the physical care, support the family through the transition, coordinate with the funeral home, and stay as long as needed afterward. Dying at home surrounded by loved ones is the goal for most palliative clients — we make it logistically possible.

These are common and manageable. Our nurses administer medications for agitation (haloperidol, midazolam, methotrimeprazine) per physician orders and document response. We also work through non-pharmacological supports — familiar music, family voice, dim lighting, comfortable positioning — that often help as much as the medications.
